Cleaning

Something that I am constantly doing. With the amount of stuff (60% of which is useless junk) we have, coupled with the amount of space (or lack thereof), there is constantly something to clean. I'm sure its the same for every household, but for us, four walls and 3 people just gets messy. Add to that the fact that Mandie is now crawling and into everything, and my new mothers brain goes on a cleaning frenzy. But I don't mind cleaning.

Don't get me wrong, Mandie is not a high maintanence baby. But when I try to get cleaning done, holy crap, its like the fire truck is in the crib!

And then there's Chris......I clean and clean and he comes home from work, and throws his clothes on the floor.....directly infront of the closet.....which is where the drawer, just for his work clothes, resides. And it wouldn't bother me....except that two items, whatever they may be, makes it look like a tornado came through the room. It's that small, space wise.

Wow.......can I vent some more? Sorry.....didn't mean to. I know its probably the same in other houses. In fact, I know it is, from talking to other wives and mothers. So, here's a rant that I know all of us women want to have. If you feel like you can't complain to others because you think they won't understand.....don't go crazy. You are not alone! Just read, yell "hear hear!!" To your screen, and let that weight on your shoulders just lift away.................

(until your husband and kids come home) ;)

Remembering

Tomorrow, my little angel will be 9 months old. I was looking through all my photos today and came by one just minutes after she was born. I compared it to one I took a few days ago, and the real, now crawling (almost) thing. And holy cow!!! Has this kid grown! She is such a joy, and I learn something new everyday. I love every minute I am with her, and cherish my time with her so much!!
From 5lb 15oz, 18in long, to who knows how big (we'll find out tomorrow!), she has brightened my life so much! I don't know what I would do with out her! I can't even hardly function in the morning until I get my morning Mandie's smile. :)
So here's to you, Mandie.  My perfect, wonderful, happy 9month old!
